Deterministic Art Simulation in Grasshopper 3D

Particle simulations are inherently deterministic, providing consistent outcomes when the initial conditions remain unchanged during resets. In this context, I am replicating famous masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa or Van Gogh paintings within Grasshopper 3D Rhino. This can be achieved using either Kangaroo or the FlexHopper plugin, which efficiently utilizes GPU power to manage a significant number of particles. You can download the file below and create your own particle portrait! 😊🎨

To employ the Kangaroo script, simply drag and drop it onto the Grasshopper canvas. Then, double-click on the image to replace it with any 1:1 aspect ratio image of your choice.

For the FlexHopper script, start by installing the plugin from food4rhino.com/en/app/flexhopper. After installation, follow the same instructions as mentioned above to create your particle simulation. Enjoy your creative journey! 🚀🎨
